if you are ok with duplicated the userid and password outside of ldap,
then the simplest thing to do would be to use the admin console to navigate to
configuration->security->realms
click on the admin-realm, and then on the form for the admin realm click the manage users button.
use new to add a new entry for scotty, and remember to make scotty a member of the asadmin group
