GlassfishV2ur2 on Ubuntu crashes with "Too many open Files"

I just have deployed a project on Glassfish it runs perfect but when many client's run on the server i get the following Error :

we use
ubuntu 8.0.4
glassfishV2ur2

my clients are java-webstart client's (no ACC clients)

what can we do ?
