Actually i had tried using SerialInitContextFactory but it was failing again. The reason was that there was j2ee.jar present in the classpath and it was picking jndi.properties of the it. So it was not getting below property.
java.naming.factory.state=com.sun.corba.ee.impl.presentation.rmi.JNDIStateFactoryImpl. I am able to lookup after removing it.
