Hi Shreedhar,
I suspect that it's related to the Shoal and JXTA as well but I'm clueless on how to troubleshoot it.
The java version used is :
java version "1.5.0_12"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_12-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_12-b04, mixed mode)
The result of ifconfig -a for non loopback is:
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 08:00:27:F5:CA:55
inet addr:10.0.2.15 Bcast:10.0.2.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: fe80::a00:27ff:fef5:ca55/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST NOTRAILERS RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:6447 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:6054 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:5744577 (5.4 Mb) TX bytes:794347 (775.7 Kb)
Interrupt:11 Base address:0xc020
It does seems like the multicast is supported.
Any other ideas?
