This is a tricky non-standard area. A reasonable fix for this problem is to check the JVM -- if it is not made by Sun then remove all -XX options.
I'm assuming the -X options are fairly standard across different JVMs. Are they?
Can you post a list of the -X options that the AIX JVM supports?
