Looking forward to 3.1!
Until then I could always let the timeout method check the timers in the timerservice so that it won't have a lot of duplicate timers for the same thing at least. It's only a bit of fairly simple maintenance we need to do in that method but I don't want to waste cpu cycles by having the same thing run twice in a short time.
