If the GF category doesn't appear, then the GF plugin probably isn't "installed correctly". It may have just failed to install correctly, silently...
I am still concerned about installing plugins into Eclipse after it has been installed on Vista in c:\Program Files...
Vista is picky about who gets to write into Program Files and when... that may be a contributing factor.
Most of the development of the plugin has been done on Unix like systems folks don't tend to have embedded spaces in their directory names... there is a possibility that the plugin has a bug related to this... Installing Eclipse in some location like "C:\test\eclipse" would be a quick way to determine if this is a contributing factor in the issue that you are seeing.
