Re: Running Multiple JRuby on Rails Applications using the Glassfish

Hi Arun,

It is certainly nice to get a reply from yourself. I have two JRuby on Rails applications currently in production. We were using JRuby 1.0 and mongrel_rails with jcluster (allows for a pack of mongrels serving the JRuby on Rails app). We upgraded to JRuby 1.1 and found that jcluster is now broken, and it appears that it won't be fixed. So we started looking in to Glassfish to serve the apps. We started with the glassfish_rails gem since it is certainly the easiest way to start using glassfish, but, it obviously has the previously mentioned limitations. What would currently be the best way to deploy these two app to our server using Glassfish? We currently have Apache serving everything, and I assume we could set up a Virtual Host to pass all traffic t Glassfish V2/V3?

Thank you,

Brandon
