Re: ORB/IIOP listeners -- Connection timeout when server is not on localhos

Seems something went wrong, because the latter part of my post is missing...

Here's the same post again but now the log files are attached to the post.

Thanks for your response (as I haven't found a solution yet).
The suggestion you proposed, was one I had already tried, without any success unfortunately.
But being of good will, I retried things again.
And again there's no success.

Reading the client side log, it seems that the client at first takes the correct IP-address (the 83.138.128.xxx) but 'all of a sudden' it takes the internal address again (the 192.168.100.182). The reason why this happens is not clear to me.
I've attached the client.log to this post.

To complete the picture, I've also attached the server.

I still have the idea that I'm doing something wrong in my situation or that there's some networking issue involved.
Maybe you can help me out a little bit more because the current logging (set to FINEST on both sides) doest not help me any further?

FYI:
I have not set any (additional) ORB parameters on the server side yet nor have I done any extras on the client side, except the adding of -Dorg.com.CORBA..... startup parameter.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your support.

Bart.
