In your server.log the relevant line is:
Cannot bind to URL [rmi://d9400:8686/management/rmi-jmx-connector]: javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.rmi.ConnectIOException: error during JRMP connection establishment; nested exception is: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
You can connect (otherwise you'd get a ConnectException) but you cannot read. This very much looks like a firewall issue to me.
