Hi Dave,

Yes, it is needed to specify cluster configuration and application deployed in an xml format. However this can be achieved without any manual intervention. This implies that webserver and glassfish appserver can be configured such that everything is done automatically in the background.

Chapter 4 : This chapter explains how to configure load-balancer plugin on webserver. It also explains how to export and import DAS certificate into webserver. This is needed for automatic updation.
Chapter 5: This chapter expains how to create a load-balancer configuration. While creating just select "automatically apply changes" and you are done.

After this every change in glassfish cluster, for example instance addition/deletion, application deployment/undeployment etc will be automatically reflected in websever loadbalancer xml.
