It's worthwhile, but making RMI Registry secure is not easy, AFAIK. I am not sure if server should
undertake providing such a service and then take care of it :)
But you can file an RFE at: https://glassfish.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectIssues. Please use
V3 as the target as I don't see this getting fixed before that. I'd appreciate if you can contribute
the source code as well.
