Hi Cay,

I have not seen this behavior with NetBeans 6.0 and GF V2 often. I have never seen it consistently (unless I crete an ejb jar project that breaks the "rules" outlined in the error message). Since you seem to be able to make this happen consistently, it sounds like your app/environment would be useful for debugging this issue and resolving it.

Please open an issue @ http://www.netbeans.org/community/issues.html and provide details.

Here are a couple questions/comments for you...

1. Are you running an Enterprise App project or a Web App project.

2. I do not understand the comment about directory deployment's defaultiness... In a 6.0 and GF V2 environment it should be the default. If it isn't, that may be a clue that I need to follow up. Can you provide more details in the issue that you open?

3. Since you are using directory deployment, the packaging may not come into play.... The "exploded view" is the thing that becomes critical. Can you provide more info about the directory structure of your project in the issue that you open?

Thanks,
vbk
