Application instance logs reverts to default location every day

Hi,
 
 I have customized the location of my app instance logs to my own directory. Every day though, when the file rotates (I set it to rotate by time instead of size), I find that it has reverted to the default directory and in the new server.log file, I see the following exceptions:
