I want to get back on this, with two questions, as I am also sort of "affected": We are considering a migration of our "legacy" platform to JEE, which includes re-implementation of most of the code. So far, we want to use Java, and we want to go with NetBeans+Glassfish/SJAS for that matters simply because of that reasoning: We can start with that combination in a wholly "open-source" environment building, learning, deploying, running our application and getting more "serious" in terms of spending money on support, education, ... as soon as it's required.

However, as far as I do see things, there's no support option for "pure" Glassfish so far? So far, I don't completely see what "major" differences are there between Glassfish and SJAS. Would moving an app from Glassfish to SJAS be as simple as redeploying it there, or is more work involved? Or should we get started with SJAS after all?

Cheers,
Kristian
