Hi,
updatetool isn't best choice, since there should be older bits of AM and this isn't
supported scenario in NB6. Go to http://java.sun.com/javaee/downloads/index.jsp and download Java Application Platform SDK Update 3 Beta (NB6Beta1 bundle - Download with Tools - is most user rated). Install it and in case if you've chosen standalone installer, add Glassfish to NB6 in Runtime tab ( bundle do this automatically for you).
If you start this Glassfish from Runtime tab, you can see then under its node Access Manager node and all AM functionality should be working.
