As far as the IBM type 4 driver, I will repeat what i said earlier. There is no reason that this driver will not work (outside of XA scenarios). We have not explicitly tested the type 4 driver from IBM as we cannot possibly test every driver in every configuration from every driver vendor.

Have you tried to use the type 4 driver and encountered problems, if so please indicate what the issues were.
