Just an FYI, you have to be careful when wielding that weblogic.jar around -- it's literally contains everything AND the kitchen sink. It's a truly humongous JAR file that gets in the way of all sort of things.
Not to contradict what Cheng says, but Weblogic has (at least used to) a "thin client" jar to work with client applications, so you don't need a dump truck to carry weblogic.jar.
So, you should certainly try out Chengs suggestion, but if that doesn't work out, you might try the thinner client jar as well.
And please come back with the solution if you get it to work!
