Adding the following to the domain.xml:
<jvm-options>-Dcom.sun.enterprise.server.ss.ASQuickStartup=false</jvm-options>
worked !!

We can now have multiple listeners (diff IP's), on port 80

Now we can move forward with our porting from 6.1 to 9.1
