Hello Kedar,

Thank you for your effort.
Did restart the server after deleting the server.log .

I will send a longer excerpt from my log-file and attach the log-file as a whole ( 339 lines long ).

The error seems to have something to do with the following:
[#|2007-10-18T21:31:51.647+0200|SEVERE|sun-appserver9.1|
javax.enterprise.system.core.classloading|_ThreadID=10;_ThreadName=main
;MDBSamples;com.apress.ejb3.chapter05.OrderProcessing;OrderProcessing;_
RequestID=e10565f3-0d97-4bfd-989a-5288815cda3c;|LDR5012:
Jndi name conflict found in [MDBSamples]. Jndi name [com.apress.ejb3.chapter05.OrderProcessing] for bean [OrderProcessing]
 is already in use.|#]

beeing new to glassfish, simple things take time, but I will try to remove that 'chapter05' from the server.

Surfing into the admin-interface, was hoping that I could see the JNDI-name which
I entered earlier from the resource.xml-file under the 'JNDI'-link - but it is not there, but instead it is under the 'JDBC resources'-link with the name 'jdbc/company'.
My mysql-driver ( mysql-connector-java-5.0.7-bin.jar ) is in the '%GLASSFISH_HOME%\domains\domain1\lib\ext\'-directory.

Regards, i
