Re: newbie - silly startup problem from eclipse - any help?

Ludovic - sadly that didnt fix -

I disconnected from my wireless network and turned the firewall off (using windows firewall).

started the server again in eclipse and go the same error

interestingly i think i only the last bit oif the trace about the server being up and running when I kill the server from the browser admin screens.

Why else wouldnt eclipse complete the startup correctly - incidently i cant run without the firewall - what port does eclipse use to communicate to the server as i'll need to open my firewall for it.

Otherwise server seems to come up fine - just cant talk to eclipse - this makes the round trip deploy from eclipse - non funcitonal - any idea of where to go next ?
