Need to perform user management by remote/firewalled swing client.
runtime creation/deletion/editon of users , groups. group maping to fixed predefined list of roles / permissions .
jdbc realm really does not cut it. (imo for obvious reasons..)
'JPA' realm would be alot more in line with good design =)
is it possible to have a custom realm get hold of the PU somehow ?
(i dont mind doing it in a non standard way)
what other options are there ?.
theres no existing infrastructure to take into consideration.
Im usnig
client : webstart swing java 1.6 ( custom classloader for wsit/metro .. )
server : GF v2 weekly builds jdk 1.6
NB6 daily builds (updating their jax-ws libs manually)
