Bobby and Jan,

Thank you for the replies. So progress has been made and additional info appears below.

In terms of the freezing problems, we have being tweaking settings for the request processing threads, etc. as it appeared that we were getting blocking. The system has improved a bit (a bit of trial and error as we learn - testing in dev using 3 concurrent Mercury QuickTest Pro sessions against a 1 CPU system provided a false sense of security :-) ). We currently have a 4 CPU system (running other apps as well) and have just changed the values to the following (old values in brackets):

HTTP Listener acceptor threads = 10 (20)
HTTPS Listener acceptor threads = 10 (20)
Request processing thread count = 24 (5)
Request processing initial thread count = 4 (2)
Request processing thread increment = 4 (1)
Keep alive thread count = 4 (1)

The system does not get a large load - maximum of about 24 - 28 hits per day, mostly spread out, with a few concurrent items in the evening.

As for the original information message that I wrote about, I have found that this only appears in the log if the user attempts to connect to the site using http. If connecting using https, the message does not appear. The message still appears in the log files for V2.

Thank you.

Regards,

Graeme.
