Hello Varun,
I haven't tried this approach but I have always wondered if it would
work or not.
Why not take the jars you have that are compiled using JDK 1.5 and use
retroweaver [1] to convert them into something that will run on JDK 1.4.
Let us know if it works! We'll spotlight you on the aquarium.
