Try to make an entry for your host name in your hosts file, and
see if that helps. It might be trying to resolve something and
fail.

Thank you for reading my post
I have a big problem that prevent me from being productive.
My computer has an ADSL connection using a USB modem.
In windows XP , when i start the adsl system i can not start the
application server It just start when ADSL connection is not present ,
otherwise it will hang on startup.
Jboss Start as usuall but GlassFish and sun apps 9 do not start.
can some one please help me ?
