Thanks Alexis for providing answers fast. I assume Richard got the zip
and installed ok, if not, please let us know :-)

I looked the following bug you filed and saw the closing text. I think
it is fine to use zip file, right?

"This is reported in Slackware linux that is not supported by installer. However, GF zip based distribution
using the jar installer can be used to install in this environment. Closing as wont fix."
