I installed the JDBC 4 driver for Postgresql from http://jdbc.postgresql.org/
Connect to database version 8.3.7
I did step 1 and all is well.

Hi Fish & Cats,
There is one thing you all can help us greatly. Could you please use Admin GUI to
do the following tests with the database you have. Then please let us know what database you
used and your test experience. If you don't have time to do (2), then if you can help with (1)
it would be a big help already. Hope many of you use different databases, that would be idea :-)
(1) Go to Resources > JDBC > Connection Pools
Verify that we are able to create pools for all major databases (Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Sybase, MSSQL, PostgreSQL...)
Verify ping function
(2) Go to Resources > JDBC > JDBC Resource
Verify that we are able to use the resources from a sample application
