Hi adam,
Can you please tell us if
C:\work\servers\glassfish-v3-prelude-b24\glassfish\domains\domain1\.felix\gf
is readable by the user who is trying to start the server? Is it
possible that some other process has locked that directory?
Have you tried installing b24 separately in a different location and see
if it runs fine?
