Yes, that's what I meant. It's simply that if more and more people
that own external modules (not in the main GFv3 repo)
start using gmbal, we need to be careful to avoid problems like we've
been seeing. The only way to do that
is to make sure we are all using the same Gmbal version (based on the
problems we've seen in this area).

But I thought OSGi was supposed to allow different modules to use
different versions of the same module,
so long as the module being used is entirely private. I don't know
why we are having these problems.

Certainly not! Not everyone that users/develops/works with GF has any
interest in Gmbal.
