Rama,

I just realized that you are running on Ubuntu and had a flashback :-)

I think we run into similar issue on Ubuntu once before where we could
access repo URL from the browser, but UC client was unable to acces the
repo from the same system. Let me see if I have any e-mail trail on that
(or I can remember who it was that run into it)...
