Probably not. I listed GlassFish's public interface that tools
and other apps that bundle GlassFish should depend on, not the
interface of those tools. What NB Plugin does is NB's interface, not that
of GlassFish. Same with Eclipse Plugin to GF.

Sorry, the SMF manifest method to stop GlassFish service in SMF would
have to be one of those I listed. If you have discovered yet another way,
let me know.

I did not say that. I just listed ways to start/stop server as public
interface of GlassFish. It's quite objective, you know.
