I've created a new GlassFish mailing list - arch_at_glassfish.dev.java.net.

The purpose of this mailing list is to discuss architectural issues for
GlassFish. You might ask "what is software architecture?" You can find
a lot of information in (e.g.) Wikipedia [1], but their top level
definition is a good start:

     The software architecture of a program or computing system is the
     structure or structures of the system, which comprise software
     components, the externally visible properties of those components,
     and the relationships between them.

If history is any indication, the line between "architecture" and
"design" is vague and easily crossed, and thus arch_at_glassfish is
likely to be a good place to discuss higher level design issues as
well, especially those issues that effect more than one module.

You can subscribe to this mailing list in the usual fashion [2];
it's currently the last item on the page.

I've asked the existing GlassFish architecture team to move all
discussions to this new mailing list. I'm looking forward to
participation from many of you as well!
