it is a good guide to maven.

I'm hoping that you guys will start to understand more about how maven
handles versioning as time goes by.

the end result should be less of the silly mistakes in sun jars
published to maven repos: for example- jaxb 2.1 jars, javaee-5.0.jar,
etc
