No, not lost - just unanswerable as yet, at least in my case.

Speaking for myself and things I'm doing, I am in the process of
planning and prioritizing a number of tasks for v3 work. The app client
container is one; the related app client sniffer/deployer that will also
be needed is another. I do not have target dates to offer yet. I hope
to have some soon.
