Hi Module Leads,

We are trying to make V2UR (9.1peur1) and future releases of the
Appserver more manageable and have identified some tasks for Module
Leads to achieve this goal. This email articulates these additional
tasks that Module Leads
<http://wiki.glassfish.java.net/Wiki.jsp?page=ModulesAndLeads> are
responsible for in upcoming releases of Glassfish/SJSAS. These are as
follows

    * *Evaluate Incoming Bugs and Issues:*

    We have incoming issues
    <https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/buglist.cgi?Submit+query=Submit+query&issue_type=DEFECT&component=glassfish&issue_status=UNCONFIRMED&issue_status=NEW&priority=P1&priority=P2&priority=P3&email1=&emailtype1=exact&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=exact&emailreporter2=1&issueidtype=include&issue_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=&short_desc_type=fulltext&long_desc=&long_desc_type=fulltext&issue_file_loc=&issue_file_loc_type=fulltext&status_whiteboard=&status_whiteboard_type=fulltext&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time>
    that need to be evaluated for potential integration into V2UR
    (9.1peur1) , which is a constrained release. Please evaluate each
    bug that comes into your category, regardless of the target release
    and decide if the bug should be considered for inclusion into the
    V2UR (9.1peur1) release. If you think it is a "must have" bug that
    needs to be included in V2UR (9.1UR1), please submit the bug for
    review
    <http://appserver.sfbay.sun.com/Wiki.jsp?page=GlassFishCheckinGuideLinesV2.1>.
    If you don't think the bug qualifies for the V2UR (9.1peur1)
    release, please re-target the bug to a more appropriate release.
    Currently, a 9.2 target release represents a future release in issue
    tracker.

    * *Review Findbugs Error Report
      <https://glassfish.dev.java.net/quality/fb-developer-report.html>:*

    To keep making progress in closing issues found in the Findbugs
    Error report
    <https://glassfish.dev.java.net/quality/fb-developer-report.html>,
    please review the report for any errors in your modules. If the
    error is too costly to fix or if it is a false positive, please
    contact Jagadesh.Munta_at_Sun.COM or Aditya.Gore_at_Sun.COM, so they can
    update the Findbugs filter and the bug will be removed from the report.

Module Managers please work with your leads and make these tasks a
priority for them...

Thanks for your help in addressing these tasks - Mark & Shreedhar :-)
