Hi Manfred,

Now since b12 is coming out we can lookinto this.. I didn't see the
patch that fixes freeBSD build, please point me to that.
Earlier Homer had some issue on this and he got the resolution, and it
seems the fix is already checked in.

For adding the .jar installer release on FreeBSD, we need to have the
resources from Release Engineering, and verify all the tests.
There is native code in appserv-native module which need to be built and
bootstrapped to support this new platform.

We will do some more investigation if we can do this and let you know soon.
