Hi there,

I have this installed on a FreeBSD 6.1 installation and it seems to be
working good. I have a personal
box at home that I could use to do building and testing.

Note it is customary for FreeBSD to have a package build and also the
ability to build from source.

Kind regards,
Manfred Riem

Hi Eduardo,

How could I help? Just let me know what and how could I help. I guess
first we need to have a FreeBSD system setup for building and testing any
promotion glassfish build.

Besides, build release team we still need the buy in from other glassfish
related module owner for support.

  Any other supporter(s)?

Thanks,
Homer

FYI only.
I think in jdk 1.5 on
<http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/downloads/java.shtml> Freebsd, it still
have some issues.

Hi there,

In order to make the source release (V1) to work under FreeBSD 6.1
I had to do the same fix as was done for MacOSX (CLI 130 problem).

And of course the platform type needs to be FreeBSD ;)

Can someone apply those little changes?

And what will it take to create a .jar release for FreeBSD?

Kind regards,
