Kedar,
Good job pulling this together.
Comments--
- It is mixing implementation tasks with features/interfaces. I
understand why this is happening, but note that it is generally
inappropriate for a one-pager, especially when it deep-dives into
things like annotations for config validation. I think it would be
better to separate out the task list, and keep the one pager as the
traditional feature/interface/compatibility document.
2.1 Does "web application deployment" mean no EJB?
2.2
- The logic of V1 vs V2 is not persuasive for me.
- The phrase "is no more a dependable interface" needs to be
clarified; it's vague.
- You *can* connect via JMX. It must be JMXMP protocol though, using
port 8888 (default).
- it is not true that there is no configuration support via MBeans.
AMX largely works (ask Anissa).
I'm reading through section 4, but it's not appropriate for a one-
pager IMO; it's tasks and design.
