Per JCP 2.8 process where decisions regarding each nomination to an
Expert Group has to be made publicly visible. I have voted yes to the
EG nominee Andrew Evers. Andrew will become an member of the expert
group once the PMO office has verified his eligibility to participate.
Here are the qualifications of Andrew:
I was involved in the original JSR236 and JSR237 expert groups.
Andrew designed and implemented CronacleBeans, the first enterprise
scheduling solution for Java, and Cronacle version 8 (also known as SAP
CPS). Both provide an environment for managing scheduled and ad-hoc
Java workload as part of a heterogeneous landscape.
My experience includes positions and consulting in the financial
services, ISP, and utilities industries.
