Creating One-to-One Mappings

Use this procedure to create a one-to-one mapping.

To create a one-to-one mapping:

In the Application Navigator, select the mapping to be mapped and click the One-to-One Mapping button on the mapping toolbar.

The One-to-one mapping tab appears in the Editor pane.

Enter the required information on the General tab (see "Working with Common Mapping Properties" ).
You can also specify:
- Bidirectional relationships - See "Maintaining Bidirectional Relationships"
- Read-only attributes - See "Specifying Read Only Settings"
- Access methods - See "Specifying Direct Access and Method Access"
- Null values - See "Defaulting Null Values"
Click the Table Reference tab to choose the reference.

Use the Table Reference tab to select the necessary foreign key pairs.
