About SOAP Server Connections

Define and manage connections to the SOAP server on Oracle Application Server or OC4J using the Create SOAP Server Connection wizard. All defined SOAP server connections are accessible to any workspace or project.

SOAP Server Connection Descriptor Properties Location

The file system location for the connection descriptor definition information is <jdev_install>/system <release_and_build_number>/soapconn.xml where <jdev_install> is the root directory in which JDeveloper is installed.

Connection Properties Deployment

The WebServices.war deployment file contains a connections.xml file, which contains the connection details. If you have selected the the Deploy Password checkbox in the Create SOAP Server Connection wizard, the password is stored in clear text in this file.
