About UIX Pages and JDeveloper Tools

template (UIT) files

A UIX Visual Editor in which you can create UIX user interfaces
visually by adding and arranging UIX user interface components
-
A Component Palette which allows you to insert visual and non-visual
components into your UIX pages
-
A Structure Window that displays a hierarchical view of all the
components in your UIX source files
-
A Property Inspector in which you can set component properties
(attributes)
-
An XML Editor in which you can create and edit UIX XML source files
using Code Insight and Tip Insight
-
Embedded Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J) that
lets you run UIX XML pages within JDeveloper
-
Deployment wizards that make it easy to deploy directly to Oracle
Application Server, standalone OC4J, and BEA WebLogic
