Working with EJB Modules

A JDeveloper project can contain at most one EJB module. An EJB module is one or more EJBs that share a single deployment descriptor. The first time an EJB project is created using the wizard, the EJB module (ejb-jar.xml file) is created.

There are a number of module-level tasks you can do in JDeveloper, including:

Adding EJBs to a Module
Removing EJBs from a Module
Opening Existing EJB Modules
Migrating EJB Projects

Additionally, in the EJB Module Editor you can create and modify:

Relationships
Security Roles
Method Permissions
Container Transactions

The most efficient way to work with the EJB Module is to use a diagram.
