Changing View Link SQL

You can edit a view link definition to change the parametrized WHERE clause that will be appended to the destination view object's query. For more information, see About Oracle ADF View Links.

Warning: If you change view link SQL, you will not be able to make the view link bidirectional. That is, you will not be able to use it to make an instance of the source view object a detail of an instance of the destination view object. For more information, see the related topics list.

To change view link SQL:

  1. Open the View Link Editor by doing one of the following:
  2. Select the View Link SQL node.
  3. Enter the parametrized WHERE clause in the W here area. If you need further assistance, click Help.
