Ya, right! That's the way.

Sun and respectively NetBeans have encourage developers for years to use
Woodstock and VWP. Now, that the decision was made to drop Woodstock
just open source it and throw the ball to the community to fix the bugs.

For someone who used the framework in production there is simply no time
to fix the bugs of tools you are using.
