FYI, I've used Netbeans 5.5 and 6 on Win 2000/XP without any path
issues. I do have to open each project manually, but that's not a big
deal. If you want to use the command line, this would be a great
opportunity to contribute. I don't think it's realistic to expect we
will modify the build anytime soon. Other than Bob and Rick, I believe
most of the Woodstock team is using Netbeans for development. At least,
we should be in order to test with VWP. ;)
