Steve,

I've forwarded your problem to the woodstock (VWP components) team. They are in the process of analyzing the problem.
Mean while if you can send us a sample page it would be easy for the team to reproduce the problem and
find a solution.

Thanks,

Winston

I apologize for asking this again but I could use any help I can get on it.

It appears that if you use the visual web pack and Netbeans 5.5.1 to create a simple JSF page with say 100+ components (text fields, buttons, calendar components etc), the page that gets rendered from the application server is almost unusable to the client.  I am not talking about the IDE, but the actual web page the client will use.  It does appear to be pure HTML at the client end, but there must be some JavaScript on each component that is listening for some event and when you get 100+ on the screen it kills your performance.

Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve Michael
