There are some compatibility issues between JSF frameworks. This is a known
issue and the subject of a couple of discussions at Java One including the
experts panel. Do you have a particular framework in mind? You can check to
see if the various frameworks will play nicely with each other. For example,
Icefaces and myFaces specifically mention which frameworks they will
interoperate with. I use some myFaces components with woodstock components.
