In case anyone doesn't aleady know about the GAP (GlassFish Awards
Program), read below. This program has 2 parts, one is for bugs (below),
the other is for code contributions. JSFTemplating contributions (code
or bugs) count for this program. So if you've filed a bug, or are about
to... please submit it to the GAP program so you have a shot at winning
some $$. The 1st place code contribution for GAP will be awarded
$20,000. There are 22 other cash awards for code contributions which are
$4,000 or greater. As stated below, $50K will be awarded to people who
file bug reports. See
http://glassfish.org/GAP for more details.
If anyone would like to contribute code to JSFTemplating, but needs help
gettings started, or needs an idea... let me know, I have lots of ideas. :)
Good luck!

attached mail follows:
Filing good bug reports is not always easy. So, as part of the GAP
[1], we encourage users and developers to file bug reports to help
enhance GlassFish and all of its sub-projects.
We do not require patches to be provided. Steps to reproduce and maybe
a testcase are sufficient to compete (good patches are always welcome
though).
If you've filed bugs in the past, please consider submitting it/them
as well as filing more.
It's as easy as sending an email to gap-submissions_at_glassfish.dev.java.net
with a link to the bug report.
As GlassFish developer or module owner, you probably know of people
who deserve an award for their past contribution please have them
submit their contribution (I'm sure you all remember a bug or two that
you've fixed thanks to a good report) .
Sun employees don't qualify. Sorry.
A total of $50K awards to be split across reports.
thanks!
-Alexis
