I added support for this to the jsftemplating project (although I
haven't tried it yet). To use cvs-news when you check files in (you
should on important changes that others should know about), you add
something like the following in your cvs commit message:
[NEWS:tag1 tag2 ... tagN] Subject
Description Description Description
Description ...
"[News..." must start at the beginning of a new line. A blank line
after your description of the "news" stops the news description.
tags1, 2, etc. are arbitrary tags which help identify the nature of your
change (jsftemplating and your java.net id will automatically be added).
